Produced by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Adele) and mixed by Charlie Holmes and Mark “Spike” Stent (Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Muse, Arcade Fire, Florence, Lady Gaga) Blue Heart is brimming with energy. Speaking about the new single front woman Lucia Fairfull explains, “Blue Heart is about the frustration you feel when someone close to you is trapped in a toxic relationship that they are too scared to let go of.”
Blue Heart is the follow up to LUCIA’s Cheap Talk EP, which was released in November ’18. Also produced by Jim Abbiss (Arctic Monkeys, Adele) and mixed by Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Florence) the EP features their critically acclaimed singles Summertime and Cheap Talk. Having already clocked up over a million streams, it had support from Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Jack Saunders, Huw Stephens who exalted “this is as good as indie gets”, and Phil Taggart plus BBC Introducing, Radio X, Amazing Radio amongst others.
